Who we are

Syntopic 33 ("we", "us") is an app studio based in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India. This policy covers the apps we publish, starting with Mello, available at meetonmello.com.

Information we collect

To let you create and find real-world events, Mello collects:

• Location. Used to show nearby events and to attach a location to events you create. You can decline location access, but you won't be able to see or create nearby events.
• Camera and photos. Used when you add a profile picture or attach photos to an event. We only access your camera or photo library when you choose to add an image.
• Contacts. Used only if you choose to invite people directly from your contact list to an event. We don't access your contacts unless you use this feature.
• Account information. Basic details you provide when signing up, such as your name and email or phone number.
• Event activity. Events you create, join, or RSVP to, so the app can show relevant events and attendees.

How we use this information

• To operate core features: creating events, showing nearby events, and connecting attendees.
• To keep the app safe, including reviewing reports of abuse or policy violations.
• To communicate with you about your account or events you're involved in.
• We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

• Other users, where the information is meant to be shared — for example, your event details are visible to people you invite or who discover your public event.
• Service providers who help us run the app (such as cloud hosting), bound to only use data to provide that service.
• Law enforcement or authorities, only where required by law.

Your choices

• You can turn off location, camera, or contacts access at any time in your phone's settings — some features will stop working without them.
• You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, by emailing yeoleameya8@gmail.com with the subject "Data request" or "Delete my account".

Data retention

We keep your account and event data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep records by law.

Children's privacy

Mello is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used Mello and provided personal data, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
